Cedar Microfinance Bank held her customers forum on 23rd March 2017 at the Banks premises, No. 91 Itire Road, Lawanson Surulere, Lagos.
The event was medium for the Bank to have one-on-one interaction with its customers, to find out what their needs are and how the Cedar can help them grow their businesses.
The customers forum was well attended by customers from surulere and its environs. The highlights of the occasion were; health talk by Dr. Oyalowo Yetunde from Preventive Health Managers, solar products awareness by a representative of Emel-Solarway limited, sensitization by key staff of the Bank and an interactive session with various customers.
Some of the customers who aired their opinions expressed their gratitude to the Bank for the services being rendered to them while others advised the Bank on how to improve its products and services.
The event also featured medical tests for all attendants and election of key customers who would act as intermediaries between the Bank and its customers.
Cedar Microfinance Bank has relocated her head office to 91 Itire Road, Lawanson, Surelere Lagos, beside Wema Bank. This new ultra modern structure which is strategically located is designed to ensure that our customers access our services under comfortable and serene atmosphere.
The new one storey building head office complex houses all the departments of the bank and also houses the ever busy Surulere Market.
The Central Bank of Nigeria has granted State Microfinance Bank License to Cedar Microfinance Bank. This was contained in the apex banks letter to Cedar MFB dated 4th September 2012.
This was in response to Cedar MFB's application for a State License, having fulfilled all regulatory requirements. As a result of this achievement, Cedar Microfinance Bank now has approval from CBN to operate branches in any part of Lagos state.
This giant step is an effort by Cedar MFB to achieve its vision "To be the preferred primary microfinance institution with a commanding presence nation wide".
